Well folks, it's official - whales need rescuing too! A braided whale found itself in a bit of a pickle in Zhejiang Province, East China, and had to be evacuated by a team of brave rescuers. It took a whopping 20 hours to free the poor guy, but they finally cut the haul cable and released him back into the deep blue on April 20, 2022. And let me tell you, that whale was probably happier than a clam (or a whale, I guess?) to be back in the big ol' ocean. The rescuers even escorted him to shallow waters before sending him on his merry way. Talk about a whale of a rescue mission!

The whale was stranded near Xiangshan County, Ningbo City, Tuesday morning. The administration of local fishing and fire control personnel immediately performed the rescue operation.

Rescuers sprayed water in their body 20 meters long and dug a group of sea water tinkle around the braided whale.

At 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the rescue team cut the transport cable and releases the whale in deep water. .
