Beijing, May 28 (Xinhua) -The Ministry of Water Resources activated on Saturday an emergency response of level IV for the control of floods on heavy water forecasts in seven provinces in South China.
Saturday to Monday, intense rain is expected in Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, Hunan and Guizhou, where the rivers levels are likely increase significantly and increase activation flood alarms, said the ministry.
The Ministry has sent a working group to Jiangxi to guide the work of response to floods, after sending another to Yunnan on Friday when he activated an emergency response of level IV on the flood of some rivers there. ENITEM
