Zhuji, a city in Zhejiang Province, is paving the way for a unique concept of a "shared community" that is gaining momentum across the country. Residents of the community Dingyuan can now enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables that are preserved in storage sites, thanks to the program of "exchange basket" - a first of its kind in the province. As Xu Guoai, the secretary of the party Dingyuan, explains, "More and more residents are joining us in this activity to share food, and we are shaping a mode of self-sufficient life." Dingyuan has not stopped at just the exchange basket program; they have also launched similar projects for books, umbrellas, and playgrounds, further fostering a sense of community and inclusivity. This innovative approach is a testament to the city's commitment to creating a sustainable and equitable lifestyle for its residents.
P>"Our community has become a shared space both materially and spiritually through three years of improvement," said Wei Jianfu, deputy director of the committee of the owners of the community, which initiated a series of activities to improve living conditions in Dingyuan in 2017. p>
