The city of Hangzhou, located in Zhejiang Province, has witnessed the arrest of a man named Xie for allegedly disrupting social order. The statement, released on Wednesday by the city's government, claims that Xie created bogus health status requests and made them available for download on smartphones. The accused, aged 41, developed and uploaded the application during April and May last year, according to the statement.

The case has been under investigation.
