High School Placement Counsellor in Hangzhou, up to 30000RMB per month

Job responsibilities:

Assessment/Study Plan design:

²  Assess students’ academic ability, English ability and general ambitions.

²  Evaluate their personality and hobbies.

²  Speak to parents to get a full picture on the child, their long-term aims for their child, and their general study abroad plan.

²  Ultimately learn to choose suitable target schools to meet parents’ expectations and child’s ability.

²  Create a study plan to help students achieve their targets.

²  Guide and motivate students to keep them on track for their study plans.

²  Help students write up personal statements

²  Check students’ progress by monitoring their work – provide feedback

Liaison with overseas high Schools:

²  Try to build up exclusive relationships with schools to help our school get as many as admissions quota

²  Request additional support and help whenever needed from schools

²  Arrange the annual Education Fair and Meeting the Admission Officer events

²  Accompany students/parents for school tours if needed

Marketing Activities:

²  Delivering presentations on various topics in related events

²  Writing up success stories of students

²  Preparing the high schools guide book

Department Management for Head Only:

²  Build up a highly efficient and motivated team

²  Able to manage staff from different culture

Other work assigned by Principals

Qualifications:

 · Native English Speaker, proficiency in Mandarin communication is a huge plus.

 · Good understanding of UK/US/Australia/New Zealand/Europe Education systems

·    More than 5 years related experience preferred in a school setting

·    Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.

·    Passion for education and passion for changing kids’ lives.
